Example 1 By suggesting a new way of packing an assortment of products, Pulsar was able to reduce the number of 40-foot shipping containers from 12 to 5. This reduction not only enabled us to lower our costs, but allowed our customer to cut their domestic distribution expenses to their clientele by 60%.

Example 2 When a customer misjudged a delivery date, Pulsar was contacted to see what could be done to solve the problem. Pulsar pulled the material off the ship before it left the Hong Kong port, amended all documentation and then arranged transport via air. The goods were delivered eight days later, ultimately ensuring on-time distribution.

Successful Relationships
Pulsar has made it a priority to partner with companies that look for results at the retail level. Recently, Carlton Cards, a division of American Greetings, challenged Pulsar to capture the trend of handmade papers. Pulsar developed a new program called "Simply Natural," manufactured 73 items in three countries and delivered a finished program to over 500 retail stores in the U.S. and Canada—all within four months. The "Simply Natural" product line is now revised and updated on a quarterly basis.
