FAQ

Won't it be cheaper if I coordinate directly with the factory overseas?
Initially, you may think so. However, due to the large volume that Pulsar manufactures and imports, production teams in the Far East make sure that details such as packaging, artwork and labeling are adhered to. We are also able to negotiate great pricing because we have built relationships with many of these factories, and we buy a large volume of products on an annual basis.

I understand that you have made several products for other companies. What if I don't want it known that we are working together?
Confidentiality is a must in our business. We never discuss a project or product without customer approval. Pulsar has been involved with many consumer products where our customer has asked us to remain anonymous. Indeed, Pulsar prefers to remain "under the radar."

I have heard that manufacturing products overseas is risky. How do I know that my order will be delivered as I expect?
This is exactly why people work with Pulsar. We have located the best manufacturers in Asia and partnered with them. Because they understand our quality control process, our customers always see product samples and printing proofs before production begins.

Are the minimums too high for a small company to begin importing?
Many of our larger clients began as small customers. We understand that product launches require smaller initial runs.

What does "private-label" mean?
A private label is when we manufacture a product, and then your brand name is applied to it. This is typically how we produce products.

Do you have the capacity to accommodate large orders for mass retailers?
Absolutely. We are proud to have helped numerous customers place products in the large chain stores such as JoAnn, Michaels, Office Depot, Target and Wal-Mart, among others.

How many languages can Pulsar employees speak?
Our U.S. office has the ability to communicate in Thai, Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

If I were to ask your customers what they like most about working with Pulsar, what would they say?
We are responsive to their needs, thorough with the details, easy to work with and honest when making commitments.

What do you mean that most orders ship in a Pulsar container?
Pulsar is moving freight from Asia on a weekly basis. By consolidating your order with other freight, we keep expenses to a minimum, and transit times are shortened. However, if you prefer to move and track your own freight, we can deliver your documentation and goods to the required port (FOB).

How long will it take to deliver my order?
Depending on the complexity of the project, the lead-time will vary from 60-120 days. Beyond production, Pulsar coordinates all packaging, inner/master carton labeling, production sampling, international and domestic shipping and monitoring of every detail of your order.

Once my order arrives, what will I need to do?
Sell it! Your delivery immediately will be ready to ship to stores. Not only will the products be correct, but six units will be packed in a poly bag (unless otherwise indicated), and each carton will be clearly labeled to make sorting a breeze.
